MÉTRO has been committed for 30 years to strengthening its links with local producers, for unique know-how combining originality, tradition, quality products (freshness and natural origin). Chef Luc Salsedo and MÉTRO are on the same wavelength, the well-being and health of consumer customers is essential! They share the same common vision which is to “produce” and “consume” locally and made in France as much as possible.
We also try to take care of our planet! This approach also makes it possible to reduce, on our scale, the greater environmental impact from year to year.

Luc Salsedo partner MÉTRO even before the creation of Socca Chips® and SoccApéro®
Our chef has been a partner for 4 years now with MÉTRO for his famous creations using chickpea flour. He had already been cooperating with this food wholesaler for many years. A former restaurateur in Nice, the chef decided in 2014 to sell his restaurant and embark on the agri-food adventure. first with Socca Chips®, the authentic chickpea flour chips that were created in the kitchen of his former restaurant. Then in 2019 with the invention and marketing of its second creation SoccApéro®, the preparation for making your own chickpea flour pancakes at home and in the pan.
His creations are inspired by Nice cuisine, a culinary heritage “made in” the South of France. Inspired by socca, this famous Nice specialty, otherwise called chickpea pancake and cooked over a wood fire.

Socca Chips®: the first and only chips made from 100% chickpea flour and 100% natural origin! Made with olive oil, salt and pepper and cooked in sunflower oil. the range is available in organic, garlic and rosemary flavors and always 100% natural. It is a product which is naturally gluten-free and which is therefore suitable for those with intolerances as well as for vegan diets.
SoccApéro®: The chef's second innovation and directly inspired by the Niçoise specialty par excellence, socca. made to make your chickpea flour pancakes, at home and also made from natural ingredients. Nothing could be simpler and more delicious.
